BDcabs is an on-demand “dispatch system” which helps connect passengers seeking rides in Bangladesh. When a user requests a ride, they’ll be shown several options, depending on their estimated travel distance and whether they need a ride immediately or later, like a marketplace with on-demand features.
2015 was a great year for the startup ecosystem of Bangladesh. Startups blossomed, new startups launched, we got the legal framework for alternative investment, new investments happened, new VC Fund launched and much more exciting stuff happened from both public and private sectors. BDCABS, the pioneers of Bangladesh's taxi app and launched during digital world fair in February 2015 with 150 vehicles, is now launching 200 CNGs in its app to be made available from June 2015. The commuters can download the apps free from app store or play store and book CNG from their smart phones. Now available only in Dhaka, the service will soon available in Chittagong soon.
